Northbridge Chipset Cooler
Northbridge Chipset Cooler
AUX temperature 92C sensor reading by all software?
It is not the chipset(northbridge) and the PSU is a brand new seasonic s12ii-620 bronze 620w. What are the normal temperatures for this PSU? It has a"Highly reliable 105C Japanese brand capacitor"... is it ok to function at 92C on idle and drop below 60C when on full load?
When does it have time to heat so much since the reading is right after i turn on the pc ? ... and why does it cool down when pc is working hard?
When the computer is under a stability test the Aux temp drops suddently below 60C!!! The speed of the PSU fan does not modify from idle to full load.. it's 1663RPM in both cases.
The CPU,GPU,MB are about 30-32C.
Any idea what this Aux measures? Should I be worried?
I have had previous answers suggesting to use "x" , "y" software for the reading to be accurate... I used many of the recommended softwares and all says the same 92C right after i turn on the pc and then dropping when in stability tests or working(gaming).
I'm afraid I cant help you there ..I know of no PSU that has a remote sensor for temps. Since I don't know what program your using nor on what mother board I really cant say what "AUX" is. There was some time ago some PSU's with a connector from the PSU that fit the PWR_FAN three pin pick up on the mother board. Your PSU does not say it has a temp sensor nor does the pic of it show anything that would connect to your mother board to give a temp reading. Some programs like speed fan can show a temp that is really not there...if at anytime you see readings that don't change...don't believe them! I had a Foxconn board that showed my CPU at a steady 34C even at start up...even under load. THe Bios showed the same thing...so did Speed fan...It was only till I used the Fox One software Did I see ANY change in temp!!! IT would start off at 28C and go up to 42C under a load...at the same time I would use the other programs and bios but the same 34C was on all of them!...I cant tell you where your getting that 92C from but I'll bet its not a real reading.
