Can I use my Dell laptop memory iMac G3 233 tray?
I have some RAM left over from an upgrade from my Dell Inspiron. It seems to conform to the specifications of the iMac and would be a positive dynamic. Can I use this RAM on your iMac? The only compatibility issue here is the speed of RAM (PC100), while the iMac is generally used PC66. A bit faster than PC133 rarely be a big problem, I used in PC100 slots without problems. If we want to try my machine, it is unlikely to hurt anyone, but it is for you. (Ram Wintel machine working on a Mac, Mac RAM works in a Wintel's all up to the specifications)
