Need advice on USB 2.0 host PCI. Please help.?
I bought an external DVD RW drive connected to my PC and received message (this USB device can perform faster if connected to a high speed USB port.) When I looked in saying no USB drivers at high speed on this computer. I bought a USB 2.0 PCI host to put it on the PC, but I always get the same message. That am I wrong. plugged into the correct ports, but no cards come with a driver disk. Where can I
I think it is necessary to install drivers for USB 2.0 PCI card. I see in your additional information you do not have a driver disk with your purchase. Perform a search for the manufacturer USB card and see if they have drivers for download. (Make sure you download the drivers for the USB specific, since some manufacturers may have different chipsets on different cards.) may also be necessary to install Service Pack 2 for Windows XP installation.
